August did not reshuffle the most-used apps on Rambox, but that does not mean nothing changed.
The entire top 15 finished in the same order as July. Look a little closer, though, and the gaps between several apps tell a different story: some tools held onto their users much better than others, while a few of July’s closest races started to separate.

August at a glance
August was unusually stable: not a single app in the top 15 changed position compared with July, but the numbers underneath the ranking did move.
Claude AI remained particularly steady, while Gmail increased its lead over Notion and Trello created more distance from Canva.
So this month, the interesting part of the ranking is not who moved up or down, but which apps changed the least.
How did the Rambox Ranking change in August?
For the first time in recent months, there are no position changes anywhere inside the top 15.
ChatGPT remains the most-used app on Rambox, followed by Google Calendar, Gemini and Google Drive. WhatsApp and Claude AI complete the top six, while Gmail, Notion, Google Sheets and Trello retain their places in the top 10.
Canva, Keep, Telegram, Spotify and Google Docs also stay in the same positions as July.
The ranking may look unchanged, but there are still some interesting differences underneath.
Claude AI was one of the most stable apps in the top 15, declining by less than 1% compared with July. WhatsApp fell by around 3.5%, bringing the two apps slightly closer together while keeping them in fifth and sixth place.
Further down, Gmail widened its lead over Notion. Gmail declined by just over 3%, while Notion fell by more than 9%, the largest percentage decrease among the top 15.
A similar pattern appears between Trello and Canva. Both recorded lower usage, but Trello declined by around 4% compared with Canva’s 6%, giving Trello a little more breathing room in tenth place.
None of these changes reshuffled the ranking, but they show why an unchanged position does not always mean an unchanged trend.
