Workspaces
One of the keys to increasing productivity in digital marketing is organization. Marketers use many applications and programs daily, so having an organized workspace will make it easier to find what you’re looking for.
Rambox Workspaces are a practical way to separate applications by category, project, or even by client. Marketers not only have to work with many applications, but they often need to log in to the same application with different credentials for each client. This is very common when working with WordPress, Gmail, Slack, or social networks. You can create, for example, a personal Workspace dedicated to your email, calendar, Slack, or TeamWork and different Workspaces for each one of your clients.
When you need to work with different accounts, Profiles are the feature that manages separate sessions. For instance, if you need two Gmail sessions, you can create two app instances and assign a different Profile to each one. Apps nested inside a Workspace can also use the Inherit from Workspace option to use the Profile configured for that Workspace.
The “Profiles” settings can be found in the Workspace and application settings. Four main types are available: Primary (default profile), Inherit from Workspace (for nested elements), Private (isolated session), and Incognito.
In addition to these main types of Profiles, you can create and customize as many Profiles as you want. For example, you can create a Profile with your corporate credentials to access internal work applications, such as Slack, and other Profiles with your customers’ credentials to access Mailchimp or their social networks. Doing this allows you to switch between applications without having to log in to each one every time.
Also, you can create Workspaces and easily add and group multiple apps from our preconfigured integrations in them, such as Hootsuite, Mailchimp, or Meta Business Suite.
Tile View
One of the main features of Rambox Workspaces is that you can choose how to show the applications on the screen. When creating a Workspace, you can choose whether to view just an app full screen or a tiled view. Rambox provides some predefined layouts to give you a starting point to choose how to display your applications. If none of the options suit your needs, don’t worry; they are fully customizable.
Tile views benefit marketers working with analytics applications such as Google Ads, Semrush, or Google Analytics. Using the tile view, you can quickly see advertising statistics or traffic to a web page.
Tiles also improve productivity for content marketers. When creating a post for a client’s blog or an e-book, you will most often have the Word or Pages application open on your desktop and a myriad of Google tabs. With Rambox’s tile view, you can have your favorite writing application and the information you are writing about on the same screen – so much easier!
Notification management
In marketing, as in many other jobs, you receive an infinite number of notifications, emails from customers, messages from project colleagues, and meetings… Notifications can easily distract us, so it is essential to classify notifications and adapt them according to the needs of the working day.
Rambox gives you complete control of your notifications. Choose for each application and Workspace whether you want to see a desktop notification, hear a sound, or not receive notifications from that application to focus on other tasks. Rambox also visually reminds you of unread messages or emails for each application, so you can quickly decide where your attention is needed most.
You don’t have to worry if you mute notifications from specific apps. Those messages don’t disappear. You can catch up on what you’ve put off from the Notification Center and quickly navigate to the app that notified you.
Quick Search
Rambox’s Quick Search is designed to help you move quickly between your apps and content. As we’ve mentioned, we know that working in marketing, you’ll be jumping constantly from one application to another and that you’ll receive countless messages throughout the day. For that reason, with Rambox’s Quick Search, you can save time by jumping from one app to another fast. Reply to someone in Slack, read an email, or finish editing your document without searching through all your open apps.
You can find the Quick Search in your main menu or with the keyboard shortcut Alt+Shift+K or Ctrl+Shift+Space (Windows & Linux) or Cmd+Alt+K or Cmd+Shift+Space (macOS).
Rambox’s Quick Search allows you to search not only for applications but also, where supported, emails, chats, or documents. Just type the name of the item you’re looking for, and Rambox will show matching results, helping you find what you need without searching through each app individually.
Focus Mode
We know how important focus is and how easy it is to lose it. The sound of applications or message notifications on the screen can cause us to lose concentration, and sometimes it’s hard to refocus. That’s why Rambox includes Focus Mode to help reduce distractions while you work on a task.
With this mode, you can choose whether to disable notifications and sounds indefinitely or set a specific duration so that nothing disturbs you while you finish your task.
Extensions
Rambox offers a selected group of compatible Chrome extensions. Especially useful for marketers are password managers for the multiple passwords they work with every day or grammar tools such as Grammarly to save time on revisions.
